Maintenance
Preventive maintenance is very important for the good functionality of your equipment. Care will help you extend the life of the machines and reduce the risk of breakdowns.
Weekly:
- Check its operation
- Check that the machine is level with the ground
- Make sure that both the surface and the underside of the machine are clean.
- Clean the console with a damp cloth and dry it completely.
Monthly:
- Inspect structures, cable connections, and visible welds.
- Remove covers and clean if necessary.
- Clean drive belts and pulleys with a small wire brush.
- Check that the pedals rotate freely and smoothly at resistance level 1.
- Inspect the power adapter (if it came with your computer). Make sure the cable is not damaged.
- Verify that the chair moves smoothly through the entire range of adjustment and that the position latch works correctly.
Quarterly basis: *
- Check the tension of the drive belts and adjust if necessary.
- Check that the seat is firmly attached.
- Check battery charge voltage.
Semi-annually: **
- Check battery voltage.
- Validate the console calibration on the bike.
- Check the function of the speed sensor.
- Perform heart rate functionality tests, both manual and wireless.
- Visually inspect all cables and connectors.
- Check and replace the brake pad if necessary.
